Commander of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force, Major General Gilbert Toropo, DMS, CBE was pleased to advise that, as part of the ongoing support by the Government of Australia to Papua New Guinea, a delivery of emergency medical supplies is expected to arrive this weekend, onboard an Australian Defence Force C130 transport plane. The emergency supplies are to be flown to Mt Hagen, Goroka, Madang and Lae for distribution to the hospitals there under the supervision of the Provincial and local Health Administrations.
