ENB Agmark Gurias Head Coach, Wartovo Puara Jr, credited his team’s unity, belief, and discipline as the key factors behind their semi-final win over the Moni Plus NCDC Pom Vipers in the 2025 Digicel ExxonMobil Cup. Reflecting on the performance, Puara mentioned to PNG HAUSBUNG after a 14-9 victory, that the team’s strength came from sticking together and trusting the process. “I think the belief in them, and sticking to the process, is what got us over the line. No one wants to solve problems by themselves. Everyone sticks to what our game plan is. The boys just keep on turning up for each other,” he explained. The coach pointed to the last try of the match as a defining moment. Puara also expressed gratitude to those who have supported the Gurias throughout the season, including sponsors, fans, and faith in God. “We want to thank our sponsors. The big thing is we want to thank is our Heavenly Father. He’s been with us all season through ups and downs. We know that everything comes from Him,” Puara said.
